Academic curriculum

- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology (L-2 DM 270/2004 or class 1 DM 509/1999)

- Bachelor’s degree in Biology (L-13 DM 270/2004 or class 12 DM 509/1999)

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies (L27 and corresponding class of previous D.M. 509/1999)

- Bachelor’s degree in MSc in Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy (LM-13 or corresponding class of previous DM 509/1999)

- Students enrolled in the third year of a Bachelor degree in Biotechnology (L-2 DM 270/2004 or class 1 DM 509/1999), Biology (L-13 DM 270/2004 or class 12 DM 509/1999), Chemical Sciences and Technologies (L27 and corresponding class of previous D.M. 509/1999), MSc in Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy (LM-13 or corresponding class of previous DM 509/1999) from an Italian University (academic year 2022/2023) that expect to graduate after October 3rd 2023 and own at least 150 trainig credits (ECTS) (on the date of the admission test).

Minimum number of training credits in key disciplines

Students with a Bachelor’s degree in disciplines other than Biotechnology (L-2 DM 270/2004 or class 1 DM 509/1999), Biology (L-13 DM 270/2004 or class 12 DM 509/1999), Chemical Sciences and Technologies (L27 and corresponding class of previous D.M. 509/1999),  MSc in Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy (LM-13 or corresponding class of previous DM 509/1999), from an Italian University  must possess a 10+10 training credits within the two classes of scientific disciplines detailed in the following table.

The suitability of the bachelor's degree for the admission to the program will be evaluated by an appointed commitee. Students may be required to take an admission exams. For more information, see the detailed description of the application procedure.

English proficiency

Knowledge of English should correspond to at least B2 level of the Common European Framework (CEF).

Students who took the Bachelors’ degree course in a University in one of the following countries are exempted from submitting an English language certificate: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, USA, or UK.

Students can present one of the following documents: Valid English language proficiency certificate. Accepted certificates are:

  • B2 First (Cambridge English Qualification)
  • IELTS 5.5 – 6.5 “Academic”
  • TrackTest English Test B2
  • ILEC Pass
  • TOEFL iBT 72-94

Laboratory experties

The candidate must demonstrate that he/she took practical laboratory experience different from practical courses present in the transcript. Accepted options: laboratory work for experimental thesis required to graduate, documented post-Degree practical activity (laboratory activity in a pharmaceutical company, practical activity as pharmacist). The suitability of the practical activity for the purpose of meeting this requirement will be evaluated by the Committee.
